What a week! #CTATechWeek brings Consumer Technology Association member companies and volunteer leaders to Washington, DC to engage with policymakers and showcase the best in technology.

Our volunteer leaders had the opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and congressional staff on important innovation policy issues such as passing a federal privacy law, creating clear federal guidelines to advance self-driving vehicles, advancing trade policy that opens markets to U.S. companies, and ensuring we have access to the best talent here at home and across the globe.

At our Digital Patriots Dinner, we honored the incomparable Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus for advancing good policy and their commitment to getting things done in Washington and putting partisanship aside. We also were able to highlight the remarkable work of CTA’s Foundation and hear from a special young man with a bright future thanks to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington.

And since we can’t take ALL of Capitol Hill to CES, we were excited to bring back CES on the Hill where we gave Members of Congress and staff a sliver of the excitement and innovation we produce in Vegas each year. Policymakers were able to see and demo innovations from Amazon, Meta, Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Abbott Health, Nuheara, Bosch, Peloton, Aurora, IBM, Infineon, Make it Home Safe, BenjiLock, Intel, and Samsung!

Each of these events on their own take precision, hard work, and savvy to pull off. But to accomplish them all successfully in one week takes a special kind of awesome that only my colleagues at CTA can deliver. Bravo!
